Lift For Life Gym honored its founder and Executive Director Marshall Cohen. Marshall Cohen retired but he will remain involved in the gym, and will continue his duties as executive director of Lift for Life Academy. Marshall Cohen impacted the lives of thousands of kids and it is more than 350 kids each year during his 24 years as an executive director. Lift For Life Gym is nonprofit gym that was established in 1988. The kids are fed dinner, taught a variety of life skills, and participate in physical fitness/sports/educational activities. Nonprofit veteran Joseph Miller replaces Cohen. The Board of Directors and the staff of Life for Life Gym have established the "Marshall Cohen Scholarship Fund" to help graduating Gym members prepare for life beyond Gym.
Friends, supporters and Life For Life Gym kids gathered together at the "Get the Picture" dinner and program at SqWires Restaurant. The evening began with cocktails reception, and then auction, and dinner with program. The great supporters of Life For Life Gym are Acropolis Investment Management, The Gellman Family, The Deutsch Family, Crown Valley Winery, Anthony and Elise Rich, Barry Hamilton and many others.
